About the CTN Mid Devon Business Hub
The CTN Mid Devon Business Hub was launched on October 31st, 2023, by Claire Thomas of Nourish to Soar, in partnership with CTN Southwest. The meetings are held at the Tiverton Hotel (with free parking available) and occur once a month on a Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. These sessions are designed to bring together Christian business professionals who want to integrate their faith into their work while navigating the challenges of the marketplace.
Claire Thomas, a Registered Nutritional Therapist and NLP Coach, is passionate about equipping and supporting Christian businesspeople. Her vision for the hub is to build a community that provides practical advice, spiritual encouragement, and mutual support. The meetings combine networking opportunities, shared insights and prayer, helping attendees navigate both business challenges and spiritual growth.
What Happens at the Meetings?
Each gathering typically includes:
- Time to introduce your business and share current challenges or successes.
- A space to brainstorm solutions and support one another practically.
- Encouragement through prayer and faith-based reflections.
- Opportunities to network, exchange business cards, and form new connections.
One of the highlights of past sessions has been reflecting on Bible characters and how their journeys inspire us in our businesses. Whether it’s the resilience of Joseph, the boldness of Peter, or the faithfulness of Mary, these stories offer timeless lessons for today’s entrepreneurs.
