Paul Bulkeley

CTN welcomes Christian architect, Paul Bulkeley of BizMin

Paul Bulkeley has a passion for doing business as ministry. In 2003 he founded Snug Architects, a multi-award-winning design studio based in the UK. He is the winner of the international design competition to design Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer, which will be the largest Christian landmark in the UK. He is also a visionary thought leader, gifted designer and compelling public speaker and we look forward to hearing him speak at CTN via Zoom.

As a Design Director of Snug Architects, Paul provides design and management oversight of projects, ensuring client objectives are met and design quality achieved. He also leads on the culture of the business and was delighted when Snug was selected by the Royal Institute of British Architects as one of only nine Role Model Practices.

Paul is also a gifted communicator and recognized thought leader in the industry, having spoken internationally on design and business ethics. He also lectures in Architecture and Urban Design at Cambridge University, Manchester MET and Southampton University, where he pioneered a new civil engineering and architecture degree. His buildings have won numerous awards including the BCIA Climate Resilience Project of the Year and an Architecture Masterprize.

Paul Bulkeley and BizMin

Paul Bulkeley (RIBA, ARB, MPhil, AHEA, MA, BArch)

Paul’s passion is to call and equip a generation of Christian entrepreneurs to do business as ministry. In addition to leading his own business Paul has been developing a Biblical approach to ‘business as ministry’ for the past 15 years and on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation he founded BizMin, an organisation dedicated to equipping Christian entrepreneurs to do business as ministry.

Paul Bulkeley has delivered Kingdom Business training to pastors and business leaders around the globe and in 2020 he published The BizMin Course, a ten-part discipleship resource for equipping Kingdom Entrepreneurs to transform their business into a fruitful ministry.

Paul lives in the South of England. He is married and has four energetic children. He grew up, the son of missionaries, on the banks of the river Congo and when not designing or communicating he is most likely to be found on his bike or out on the water.
